hello all, glad i found this forum!

i've had my gt5 for 2 years now, and have a little over 2000 miles on it. my front brake is squeaky as hell, every time i stop. i also *think* i hear a little grinding. i am assuming i need new front pads, which is no biggie, but i am worried that my rotor is damaged. i can see the circular pattern on the rotor, but i don't see any carved out or irregular grooves on there. i guess what i'm asking is if i should go ahead and replace the rotor, or if anyone has a photo of a normal looking rotor so i can compare it to mine. also, are these repairs simple enough to do myself?
