I have one Yamati Strada CE 2005 , 5 month a go have accident but now im ready for ride again , well i have 5month not ride the scooter , i try recharge the batery but not work , i need use jumper cable or kick starter for turn on the bike , but the batery not recharge ,

I need replace the batery or check for other problem ?

Tengo una Yamati Strada Ce 2005 , hace 5 meses tuve un accidente pero ahora ya estoy listo para usar mi scooter otra vez , pero tengo el siguiente problema , el oficial que me guardo la scooter me dejo el switch puesto y se mantuvo asi casi por un mes y medio y la bateria se descargo , trate de recargarla pero no funciono , cada vez que la voy a prender para calentarla , necesito jumpearla , pero al apagarla la bateria no carga y no vuelve a prender

Quisiera saber si es necesario remplazar la bateria o verificar si el problema es otro

I agree with Sporty. There is an alarm and clock on most of these scooters. After a while they will run down the battery and kill it. To avoid this from happening check into a Battry tender Jr. or Battery Tender Waterproof if you leave your scooter outside while charging. Both these products are great and come with a harness you attach permanently to your battery so you can just plug your scooter in when not using it. It will keep that battery charged so you can use the alarm and electric start.
