Has anyone purchased a scooter online and had problems registering the bike? What were the issues that you had to deal with? Did you get the scooter registered?

Aloha,
Al

I\'d avoid bnscooters.com. They will tell you they can deliver in a week and a half and you will be lucky to get delivery in two months.

They tell you they are having their \"technicians\" check it over, which is a total lie. It arrived basically OK straight from China with a couple of hoses off and a wiring connection popped apart. No big deal, but I know they did not prep it.

I did not have any registration issues except the VIN number check the officers do on out of state purchases.

Buy it with a Credit card, even if you don\'t really need to...

You will have more recourse if anything goes wrong. My experience has convinced me of this. They actually had the charge taken off the card by the time the scooter arrived. I had to tell Discover card to put it back on. It\'s nice to know they will back you up...

Failure to register and not be able to use the product for the main intended function (on the street) is cause for a valid dispute where you can get the charge taken off.

Good luck!

I purchased my scooter online and didn\'t have any problems getting my scooter delivered and I got it a lot cheaper than the local dealers price. I also didn\'t have any problems registering it. The only problem that I had was the ladies at the DMV couldn\'t figure out to register it as a moped or a motorcycle.
