FLASHER UNIT replacement question 6 Months ago

Hello all:
I have a SunL 150 cc scooter. At the 500 km point, the flasher unit stopped working. I replaced it (under warranty) & now, at the 1000 km point, the flasher unit has stopped working again.
I ensured that I did not pinch the wires when I re-assembled the plastic & rear view mirrors.
I should now like to replace the flasher unit with an automobile flasher. Can anyone tell me which colored wires (green, black & grey) connect to the (B, E & L) Battery, Earth & Load blades on the flasher unit?
Thanks in advance.

I was able to find info on this subject in a forum:
I bought an automotive flasher unit. The new flasher has a letter next to each prong L, P, X.
I connected the L blade to the grey lead wire. Connected the X blade to the black lead wire. The P blade I taped/sealed up, which is to say, it remained unconnected to any blade/terminal.
This worked well. I hope this will help others who face a flasher unit malfunction.
