howdy guys,
just found this site. i just did a mod on a gy6 125cc (TNG Del Rey)
with a pro-formance pipe & header , speed clutch,main spring and
some of those new sliding weights .i got the parts from mrp-speed.com
as i am a dealer for their parts along with TNG scooters.
my main concern was the fit of the header and muffler, with the other componets of little cconcern as they are a direct swap ( all vento 150 parts).
well the header bolted on just fine with a enough clearance by the fan cover and the angle of the muffler is same as the body parts , looks nice.
one slite difference is the muffler is not as close to the scooter as the stock one was and i had to make a small (and easy fix) bracket to hang the exhaust , a half hour job, as the supplied one didn\'t fit.
So now comes the fun part, i took it for a test run and now there is better take off and a higher top end by about 12mph (under best road conditions)
i was concerned that we would loose some low end but that was not the case all around the customer & i are happy with the upgrade.
so the moral of this story is \'DE-RESTRICK that 125cc\' as the stock exhaust is real tiny and you will have more fun going faster!!
