Hi,
Hours online with the tech support people. I have a 2006 Strada clone [258cc water cooled].
Started off with the fuel line NOT CONNECTED. Yes, the factory guys test the engine with a small gas tank in the factory. Disconnect and heh, I have a great idea - let\'s hook the fuel line back up. OK, took awhile, but we traced it back to the fuel pump and I got it connected. The fuel filter is dry so I soaked it in gasoline and it starts to turnover.
What I am afraid of is pressing the electric start too many times and running the battery down. There is no kick start. I guess we have probably tried about 20-25 times so I am stopping for now. Please don\'t tell me it is flooded, it isn\'t. There is no fuel leaving the fuel pump. Tech thought if we could get it going it would eventually pull the fuel through.
I think there is no fuel leaving the fuel pump. The tech wanted me to \"suck\" on the fuel line. OK, I am a doctor and wasn\'t excited about that. Next, I sprayed starter fluid. No start.
Any ideas? I want to ride my new motorcycle!!!
Thanks.
Thats it. New motorcyle. Just a tech line;
