too many options, which are ok and which are deathtraps? 2 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
i\'m looking to buy a 150cc scooter. now i can\'t chuck out $5000 on a honda helix, or i\'d do it in a second. so i need a cheap second option. i looked on ebay, and sunflower popped up and the ebay auction and the website said different specs for the same bike, so i\'m passing them by. fan cooled engine (yamaha engine if requested) seemed like lies, all lies. then i looked at sunl, anyone have one of these? that brand is on hold because i can\'t find much on them. then i liked the Tank 150 Urban Racer 150cc, is tank crap because they get bad mouthed alot? what about the Primo \"Strada\" Streaker 150cc or the Strada 150TE RX150 150cc Scooter? then theres the vento phantom, i don\'t know if they are all the same because they seem to be close to the same scooter. this is overwhelming, can anyone give me some advice or am i to pick at random?

Tank 150 seems crappiest of all the 3. The Strada 150 should be ok, iv heard ok stuff about them and the vento phantom may bee a hair better than the strada but not much better the phantoms are also a little pricer. Id probably go for the strada rx150TE. and if i had a little more cheese id buy the vento phantom check um out here http:// www.vento.com

Posting prices on the Group is not allowed for dealers.
There in no way the Phantom is better than a Strada, QJ no longer makes the Phantom,
The Strada RX150TE,Strada RX150CE and the RX8 are made by Yamati in China.
The RX200HP, RX8i, and the RX125 is made by Qianjiang in China.
The Vento Phantom and the Phantera are
produced by Jialing Motorcycle of China. Qianjiang stopped production
on these two units the end of last year 2004. Strada scooters and
motorcycles are produced by Qianjiang and Yamati of China.
Since Jialing started making the Phantom the quality has dropped.
Just make sure if you buy a Strada it comes from a dealer that works with the PSF, There is alot of cheap gray market copys out there,
Sporty

its funny though cause my strada is not made by QJ or Yamati mine is made by Lifan and it says Lifan on the engine and the Lifan symbol is stamped on a lot of other parts

my carb on mine is made by walbro wich is weird cause i didnt know walbro made motorcycle carbs i thought they only made weedwacker carbs
