I just picked up a new Phantom GT5 yesterday at what appears to be a GREAT price (apparently dealer is no longer carying Vento due to dealer communication issues that I have seen mentioned elsewhere on this site).

I do have a few questions that I hope some folks on this site can help me with.

(1) I am not sure if my machine is an 05 or 06. I have both years on different paperwork and have seen others having this problem. Any way to tell?

(2) What is the difference between the GT5 and the r4i? I think that I have a fancier exhaust but dont know much else.

(3) Also, what does the GT5 retail for. I have seen an r4i online for around $2200 but not sure.

(4) And finally does anyone have suggestion on specific replacement spark plug and carb for this machine. I saw a post recommending a specific plug for a zip but imagine I need something different from this.

and finally

(5) Can I put the brighter bulbs in this machine? 35w? There is a vendor on this site selling bulbs for the Zip but again I dont know if these work on my Phantom.

I have a 2006 Vento Phantom R4I And Have The 35Watt Bulbs, They Work Much Better The The Stock 18Watt.
As For Spark Plug Get The NGK, If Your Scooter Came With This Plug You Should Be Fine
