Setup for Strada Modesto MS150 4 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I am getting a Strada Modesto by delivery because there is nothing in this area right now as far as a store to get one. I live in Slidell, Louisiana, let\'s say no more about that, KATRINA!!! What tools should I have on hand when it arrives to get it ready. I have a PT Cruiser that I customized myself inside and out, of which I am very proud of and I am somewhat mechanically inclined so I should not have a problem setting things up. I can not find much on the actual set up when a scooter is delivered to your home. I just like to plan things out ahead of time so there are no major suprises. Also, I have been trying to find something along the lines of a backrest and to no avail, nothing that I am looking for. Shad Motorcases has a backrest I like, but I do not know if it will work with the Strada and of course I can not get a response about the backrest to see if it is compatible. My last resort would be a case that had the backrest built in. I would like to find out a bit more information on the scooter itself other than the advertisements from dealers. I researched through the Qianjian Motor Corp and I can find no brochure or information either on the scooter. AHHH!!! Any help or suggestions on anything I have brought up would be greatly appreciated. I can\'t wait for the scooter to arrive!!! My husband just bought a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, so I decided on a scooter for the wifey!! Hopefully I can keep up with him somewhat, he, he. Thanks again for any help you can give. Kimberly

The front wheel is off for shipping since the box is a lower profile to fit in the container. Also the windscreen and front headlight cover are off since the battery is located behind the front head light trim panel. The mirrors are under the seat and are installed using Allen screws.
I am setting up one on Monday for a buyer, I will know more then,

Thank you for the information. I am getting my Strada on Thursday so we will have to compare notes. I did call the dealer and he stated that the battery and mirrors would have to be put on. I also know you should check fluids, fuel lines for leaks, nuts and bolts for tightness, etc. I don\'t remember off hand if he stated the wheel had to be put on or not. I guess I will see on Thursday. I bought the scooter at Menintools and so far everything has gone smoothly and very fast. I guess the final opinion will be when I have the scooter in hand. I will keep you posted.
