Had a problem with noise from around the CVT. Turned our to be the kickstart lever causing it. The top of the lever would vibrate and make lots of noise at certain RPMs. Take the kickstart lever off and ride around to see if it goes away.

i had the same problem with my vento gt5 2 stroke upgrade to 70cc. had a loud rattle on the left side, went to a moped place had my piston changed, belt and weights. still was rattling, he mention the bearing coul be bad. sure enough it was the left bearing.i put in new crankshaft with 2 new beaing put it in today and riding noise free. if it\'s rattling,99% of the time it\'s the bearing.hope this help.

In my experience rattling is usually just the roller weights bouncing around and it's nothing to worry about. Yes, you could have a bearing going out as well and if you let it go could cause some bad damage. To check if it's the roller weights, try simply pulling them all out and see if the rattle goes away.
