Triton Battery 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
How long do these batteries last? After 9 months mine is dead. I used a battery tender to recharge it and that works for 2 starts. Maybe I have a bad cell in it, or the Florida heat killed it.

after not riding for seems like 6 months my battery was dead, charged it with a slow trickle overnite. it started ok, but next am it was dead again! charged it again through the day, and just took it for a quick spin. wondering if it\'ll be dead tomorrow. maybe will have to get a new batt, what do ya\'ll think??

I bought a new battery and all was fine. I do believe that if I had known I could have added fluid. I thought it was a maintence free battery, if I had added new fluid, it might have kept the charge.

9 months is probably better than average. The OEM batts don\'t amount to much.

The stock battery lasted over 3 years in my 2003 Phantom, After filling the battery I put it on a Delron battery tender untill a full charge was on it, Put it on tender over winter and every 2 weeks in summer, It was a Yuasa 12v 4ah,

Could have something to do with the difference between Florida and Wisconsin. We have a 12 month riding season, I suspect the number of discharge/charge cycles has something to do with battery life.
