I have 3800 miles on my \'04 Vento Phantom (125cc) and finally shredded
my CVT belt, at least that\'s my assumption. I was scooting home from
work and lost all power to the rear wheel. the scoot runs great, just
doesn\'t go.
I have some mechanical skills but I\'m having a hard time finding
exactly which belt to order. Does anyone have a supplier where I can
mail order one? A part number and size would be helpful too.

Thanks so much!
benjamin

A bit late, but: i just pulled the cover to check mine at 2597 miles, and there is little wear. The belt is marked 842-20-30 and C10/5

i would make sure you give it a good close look,as the belt may look
fine at a glance but try and see if the top of the belt is coming
unlaminated because once the layers start to seperate it wont take long
and you could wind up getting a bunch of it wrapped up in the clutch
and locking your back wheel up,which would be no fun at 55 mph...

lol no that is NO fun i\'ve had it happen 4 times last yearthreads will get
tangled up in the clutch springs won\'t lock up thew wheel but will slow you
down to coast to a stop and make you stranded till you can get a lift to
get it home.

Paul - is there any warning when the belt is deteriorated and going? Maybe jerky acceleration, or something?

Yes, Once it hits that point it won\'t last long IF its the belt acting up.
If you pull the cover off be sure to press in on the kick start shaft,
You don\'t want the shaft coming off with the cover or you will have to
reset the kick start spring, A real P.I.T.A.,
