The wifes Scooter is feeling sick today. She said she barely made it
home today. What it is doing. It is idleing fine, but when you apply
throttle it surges up and down ( it is a steady rev up and down, up
and down ) with little to no power. Seems to run steady at low
throttle.

Air cleaner is clean ( acts the same with or without aircleaner.) Yes
there is fuel in the tank, put some fresh in it to be sure. I guess
that leaves me with fuel or carb issues. Any Ideas out there. Thanks.

It could be a hole or tear in the rolling diaphragm of the carb.

Were could I find a parts exploded view of this carb. So I know what

Hi:
You probably have a Keizo pd18j carb. Doubt you will find a parts
diagram or replacement parts. May just be easier to replace with a
new carb like this one if it looks same as you have: http://cgi.ebay.com/ ebaymotors/WALBRO- CARBURETOR-FOR-50cc- CHINESE-SCOOTER- TANK- ROCKETA_W0QQcmdZView ItemQQcategoryZ84149 QQihZ006QQitemZ16017 3022263

as long as you are sure its the carb and not an ignition issue.
Clive.

It does have the Walbro Carb. Had my mechanic look at it, he doesn\'t
think it is a carb issue. Diaphram was in perfect shape, I did clean
jets out just because I had it off the bike.( scooter only has around
300 KM on it )

When I took the fuel line off the carb it had no fuel running out, I
had a clamp just in case. Should this have line pressure from the tank
on this line all the time? And after putting carb on the scooter I am
getting no fuel to the bowl. Could that metal fitting at the bottom of
the fuel tank be faulty. And by the way what is it and what does it
do. It has one fuel line and one air line plugged into it.

Thanks David
