Well I gave time for things to simmer down a bit in the linked yahoo group, and I was hoping that it would again be an outlet of positive advice for the members of both the group and myvento.net. That does not seem likely, so I have made the decision to unlink the two and put some distance between myvento.net and the defunct yahoo group. Please note that all prior posts will be saved in the closed forum archive, so searches will still be fully functional. This also may let us migrate to another forum system, which means better looking site styles and easier navigation, among other things I just have to get something that will let me pull in all the old posts or have an archive we can all access.

Forum participation is majorly down (traffic isn\'t though), and I think it may have a lot to do with the types of responses being fielded from the yahoo group.

The owner/moderator of the group had a spat some months ago involving another peer reseller stepping on his toes, he didn\'t get the response that he was expecting from their vendor, and he decided to show his ass since he wasn\'t able to resolve the issue to his satisfaction. I\'m not going to go into any more details than that, many already know the story.

Not to take sides here, but renaming the group and then bashing what you have been selling for the past "4 years", along with telling every poster who asks a question to sell their scoot and get something non-chinese is going a bit overboard and is definately beyond childish (not to mention hypocritical!). There are always legal avenues that can be pursued when agreements are broken, granted not in every case though.
