if you let a 2 stroke bike sit for a while the gas will evoprate from the
carb bowl making it harder to start and smoke a lot, Try starting your bike
at least once a day and let it run for 5 minutes.

The oil injection check valve is leaking oil into the carb, My wifes
Zip does the same thing, If it sits long I have to drain the carb that
is full of oil and then start it, I\'m looking into getting a inline
valve to solve the problem,

A leaking oil injection check valve can be repaired if the valve is
integral to the carb inlet fitting. The ball seat of the valve can
simply be re-coined. Just carefully pull the press fit brass fitting
out of the carb body trying not to nick the sharp edges of the hose
barbs. Catch the internal spring and ball bearing as the fitting is
pulled from the body and note the assembly order. Ensure that the
inside of the fitting and ball are absolutely clean. Insert the ball
back into the fitting and lightly tap on the ball using a hammer and
soft aluminum or brass punch. The spring can be slightly stretched
out if needed. This will raise the cracking pressure. Reassemble the
whole fitting in the correct order. Use loctite sparingly between the
press fit diameters if needed. Run a pre-mix oil and gas mixture
until proper functioning is evident by a decrease in the oil tank
level with usage.

Not to disagree but I found a source for inline check valves. http://tinyurl.com/ 9r22j
I don\'t see why a person just can\'t cut the oil line and put this
inline and leave the malfunctioning valve alone.
QUOTE:
From the site>>>> >
The 695 series is a general purpose check valve that operates in any
position, horizontal or vertical. A great low-resistance, high flow
check valve where space is limited. Available in nylon for general
purpose use and polypropylene for excellent chemical resistance,
positive seal at pressure. Maximum operating pressure of 125 psi
covers a wide range of air and fluid applications. Standard cracking
pressure 1 psi. Seal material: Buna-N. Guided stainless steel ball and
spring. 1/2" diameter.<<& lt;<<

It would be a very easy fix, What do you think?
