So it turns out there is a small \'emissions\' sticker under my seat,
that you see when you open to gas up... its stuck on the underside.
It says to use 89 octane. I just filled it up and the scooter feels
like it pulls better. I live in a hilly neighborhood and on some i
can only hit 35mph. I am going to test in that hill and see it makes
a different. Bike seems quieter too?

Using octane higher than what is required wil only make your motor run hotter.
These scoots are not really high compression, so high octane is not needed.
