2004 Triton R4 main stand springs! 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi all,
This is my first post to the forum after looking long and hard for a forum that looked like it had info related to my first scooter purchase (2004 Triton R4). I picked this puppy up a month or so ago on a whim since I was planning on using it on my 10.5 mile commute to work each day, and after overcoming the noise factor, I'm pretty happy with my scoot.
I have my first issue. I purchased a replacement main stand for this scooter since my original broke, but for the life of me can't figure out where the springs that connect to the mainstand, connect to on the frame! I haven't been able to find any close up pics of the main stand showing the mount points for the springs, so I wanted to see if the list could help me out.

Any help is appreciate!

thanks,
E

On my 2007 Triton Li the spring for the main stand clips into a notch located on the bottom of the engine. The notch is near the right bottom edge of the engine and can be seen by viewing it from the kick stand side of the scooter. Possibly yours is of similar design.
