Alarm Remote Control Usage |

Instructions for the proper use of the remote, and the various functions of the alarm explained. This information mainly applies to Ventos, but there are manufacturers which use the same type of alarm on other scoots.

- Economical Alarming - Upon repeated touch within 3 seconds of pre-alarm, the alarm will start beeping, the directional lights will flash, and the motor is disabled and will not start.

You can hold it down on the second press to make the starter stay engaged and release the button when the scooter is running. Once this mode is activated the alarm sensitivity setting is reset to medium (the alarm has 7 settings, meaning on a scale of 1-7 it would be set to a 4) Press once, the direction light flashes once, the alarm short-chirps once, the alarm sensitivity setting is raised one level. Press once, the direction light flashes once, the alarm short-chirps once, the alarm sensitivity setting is lowered by one level. Once you get over the lowest setting (four levels lowered) or over the highest setting (four levels raised) the lights will flash twice, the alarm will chirp twice, indicating the adjustment failed. Once you set the sensitivity to the desired level press , the directional lights will flash 3 times and the alarm will chirp 3 times indicating the the sensitivity setting has been saved. | | Moving | "ScooterJacking" Mode |  Press at the same time | The direction light flashes once, the alarm chirps once, 5 seconds later the alarm will go off, the direction lights will constantly flash, and the motor will turn off and be disabled.
